Clearly Scrumptious Treats
Cranberry and Raisins – All different tasty flavours

The various dried cranberries and raisins were the clear favourite, because of all of the different flavours like apple, cherry, raspberry and blueberry followed by the sweet tasting dried strawberries which my Daughter couldn’t get over were actually really strawberries just dried and she said how delicious they tasted. I love how they are all around 100 calories so a perfect light snack anytime of the day.

Crunchy Apple Wedges

The dried apple wedges weren’t particularly popular with my family as generally prefer fresh apples, However these would be great on the go and a store cupboard staple as have a pretty long expiry date. The packets are a great swap for sweets and perfect for being out and about with children and adults alike. Which is how the Children have been eating these snacks usually during days out as a snack between meals.

Clearly Scrumptious state the snacks are wheat, gluten and dairy free whilst also being suitable for vegans plus have no added sugar.

These opinions are my own and I received this box of healthy treats in exchange for a honest review. Thank you Clearly Scrumptious

Zimpli Kids – Gelli Baff, Slime Baff and Snoballs

How to make bath time fun with children

My eldest Daughter especially loves anything Slime! So we were very excited to have been kindly sent samples from Zimpli kids to review of their Gelli Baff,Slime Baff and Snoballs.

Gelli Baff Zimpli Kids

Zimpli kids note these products are 100% safe for  bath and playtime fun.

(as per the packs)

They are non irritant (both of my girls age 3 & 6 had no skin reactions and stain free), however I would always suggest reading the package before using the product.

Loves anything pink

I tend to bath my children every other night, First up was the Gelli Baff which really appealed to my eldest Daughter she loves anything goo based and pink!

Gelli Baff Zimpli Kids

Once you have opened sachet one, Pour it in to the bath, then mix it all up as if you were mixing cake batter. The more you mix the thicker it gets. The Gelli became much thicker even after this image. Also the warmer water speeds up the Gelli volume increase in volume.

Then I asked the girls to jump out, and i put sachet two in which dissolves the Gelli. I then washed it away with no stains.

It is so clever and mind boggling. Plus no mess! Definitely a win for me.

My girls had so much fun! This was probably their favourite of all three we had been sent! So much so I have been out and brought the Glitter Gelli Baff as think my Daughter will love it in her stocking.

Slimey fun

A couple of days later we tried the Slime Baff,

The girls enjoyed playing with the slime, with this one there was no sachet two but still it washed away after they played. This was also 100% safe bath time fun with no irritants and stain free.

Let it snow

The Snowballs were lots of fun, we poured the packet into the of water and mixed well. After a few minutes the snow formed. My Daughter loved squeezing it into different shapes. We used it in a bowl on this occasion however would be lots of fun to use outside throwing as sno balls. The Snoball’s are non toxic, non irritant and stain free, However would suggest a small skin test first.

A What if bag?

After my baby was taken into Hospital last week with Bronchiolitis, He and I spent several hours waiting before being admitted to a ward, After it got me thinking that as parents we should have a bag ready to go and packed with a few essential items should we suddenly need to stay away, be it at a Hospital at a relatives or even getting stuck at work when the roads are un safe to drive due to snow ( this has also happened to me )

So in the just in case bag I have now packed

Clothing – Something warm ( big cardigan ) believe it or not the Hospital was freezing as under a air conditioning vent . I’ve also put a pair of leggings and a T-shirt just to freshen up.

Jumper

Clean Knickers, Socks, Bra,Slippers plus a nightie or pjyama’s- Simple but so necessary

Socks

A vanity bag – Mini Shampoo, Conditioner, Showergel, Tooth brush and Toothpaste plus deodorant, sanitary products, face wipes and moisturizer. (Pretty much the bare minimum to feel vaguely clean, I have major OCD and have to shower every morning without fail and wash my hair ) annoyingly I cannot break this habit.

Vanity case sample size toiletries

Spare change and a snack  ( although a bit tricky because it could go off )

Mobile phone charger or charge pack. I’ve seen these for really reasonable prices recently.

This is just for the main parent/ carer, Then I would tell someone where it is in case you need it. ( To my Husband it is the black bag on top of my wardrobe )

Do you have a bag like this packed? Would love to hear what you pack?
